As enterprise communication shifted toward cloud-based and mobile-first ecosystems, Spectralink needed to enhance its Apollo 96xx/92xx Wi-Fi and LTE series — devices used daily in critical on-site environments where speed, reliability, and interoperability are non-negotiable.

To overcome these challenges, Spectralink partnered with Matellio to re-engineer its product development lifecycle. The collaboration started with a deep-dive diagnostic into firmware dependencies, integration gaps, and test coverage inefficiencies. This informed a three-tier modernization strategy — focusing on interoperability, speed, and continuous quality.
Matellio engineers enhanced communication modules with multi-protocol support, ensuring seamless interoperability across diverse IP PBX systems such as Cisco, Avaya, and Mitel. This improvement eliminated fragmented communication flows and enabled secure, real-time connectivity across networks.
